Narrow Aisle Forklift
Made to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This type is suitable for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, such as warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires which make maneuvering easy.
Usually, the operator of this particular type of forklift stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This configuration enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several models of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the whole machine. The sit-down version usually has four wheels.
Numerous narrow aisle forklifts are powered by an electric engine. Machines which are electrically powered do not produce exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the suitable choice for closed areas like retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Then again, the diesel version is not recommended to be utilized indoors since it could produce exhaust and be quite noisy.
